White
Water Rafting
(CLASS
III) Season: May - January or weather permitting. Length: 18 km. This tour is excellent for first-time rafters,
families and veterans alike. Exciting
but forgiving rapids in a tropical setting.
Educational and interpretative.
Early
morning pick-ups by your river guide at your hotel in Boquete or David.
Transfer to our put-in site, where the instructions and safety talk are
conducted, along with a review of the day's itinerary.
We then begin the day of fun on the river, stopping for a delicious box
lunch on a beautiful beach midway through our journey.
River time is around 4 hours, depending on the water level.
Mid-afternoon take-out in Gualaca and transfer back to your hotel.
Minimum
group size: 3 people. Minimum age:
10 years.
RIO
CHIRIQUI VIEJO: (CLASS IV/IV+)
All
year, not available during high rainfall periods.
Usually too big through December. Length:
15 km. Minimum group size: 3
people. Minimum age: 15 yrs.
Previous experience required, or guides approval.
Remote tropical canyons and more difficult rapids provide an
unforgettable and thrilling experience. An
action packed day.
Early
morning pickups by your river guide at your hotel in Boquete or David.
Transfer to the put-in for the safety talk, instructions and itinerary
discussion. Depending on water
levels and the ability of the group, the right is reserved for the head guide to
decide to run another stretch of the river.
The action begins right after the put-in, and continues to the take-out.
A delicious picnic lunch is eaten during the river trip at one of the
numerous scenic beaches or water falls dropping in to the canyon.
River time: 4 hours, depending on water level.
Mid-afternoon take-out and return back to your hotel.
CHAGRES CHALLENGE
(Rafting and adventure)
Depart
from hotel early in the morning with expert rafting outfitters from Panama. Drive to Cerro Azul in 4x4 vehicle where you will stop at
Altos de Pacora village for a typical breakfast. Afterwards proceed on a hike
down to riverside where the adventure starts. The river-rafting guides will give
you instruction. Level of the river
is III and it means most people can enjoy this trip. Not only can you do river
rafting but you will also enjoy the magnificent rainforest that borders the
Chagres River, stop for a box lunch in an area where you can swim or just rest. After
lunch we visit an Indian community that lives down the river. The day is long
but filled with adventures. You will return to Panama about 6:00 p.m.
Easy
and exciting rafting and very close to Panama City. We will bypass a beautiful Class IV waterfall.
Overall the river is Class II & Class III whites water rafting.
Depart from hotel early in the morning and drive to Chepo on a 4 x 4
vehicle until your reach the Mamoní River.
Afterwards proceed by walk to the riverside where the adventure starts.
Box lunch in a beautiful area where you can swim or just relax.
After lunch continue the rafting.

hat, sun block lotion, light wind breaker, towel and a change of clothes
for your return trip. Includes:
