Weddings in Anguilla - Costs Rica
Government Court Requirements:
Government requires 48 hours for processing a marriage license prior to the wedding. (We can take care of this before you arrive on the island.)
A fee of US$284.00 must be paid to government of Anguilla for stamp duty and marriage license (this fee is reduced if one partner resides in Anguilla at least 15 days prior to wedding). Marriage retrieved from court. Birth certificates or passports needed. Most recent divorce papers (If divorced).
Church minister/ pastor permission.
Roman Catholic Church Requirements:
Confirmation & Baptismal papers Freedom to marry
(retrieved from church ). Suggest that you take a pre cana course in marriage. Marriage license from court
Birth Certificates or Passports 3-6 months advance notice of wedding.
What is required
Residency of three working days prior to ceremony Affidavit, obtained in Antigua, stating that both parties are single and free to marry Birth certificates, Passports, Special marriage license - obtained from the Ministry of Justice, Divorce Decree Absolute (if applicable)
