Volcano Irazu National Park - Ujarrás - Cachí Dam Today we visit Irazu Volcano National Park, at the brink of the crater you will admire the lunar landscape and the impressive cliffs at 3.432 mt. (11.260 ft) above the sea level. Leaving the volcano, the route takes us to the reconstructed Ruins of the colonial Church of Ujarrás and the majestic Cachí Dam with its lake. Overnight San Jose. |

Matina/Freeman - Tortuguero Today we go from San José through the Cloud Forest National Park Braulio Carrillo to Siquirres and on through rain forests and large banana plantations to the embarking point by Matina. Here you will board a boat and cruise the marvelous water canals until you arrive in Tortuguero. We visit the village and the Green Turtle Information Center. Overnight Tortuguero. |
| Day 4. : |
Tortuguero National Park - San Jose Early Sunrise Boat Tour through the small natural canals in the Rain Forest and National Park Tortuguero with its impressive flora and fauna and more than 309 bird species. After breakfast, you will enjoy again the ride through the canals on our way back to Matina/Freeman/Caño Blanco and on by road to San José. Overnight San Jose. |

San Ramón - Valle Escondido We will drive the Pan American Highway to San Ramón where you will start climbing the Central Volcanic Mountain Range to arrive at Valle Escondido where we will enjoy a visit to a Private Rain Forest Reserve. Overnight Valle Escondido. |
| Day 6. : |
La Fortuna - Volcano Arenal - Tabacón In the morning, transfer to La Fortuna in the San Carlos Lowlands. In the late afternoon we will have the opportunity to see the Arenal Volcano with its almost perfect conic form and its lava eruptions. We will also enjoy the Hot Springs at Tabacón with its idyllic tropical gardens. Overnight Arenal. |

La Fortuna Morning at leisure to enjoy the surroundings of the majestic Arenal Volcano and the small town of La Fortuna. Early afternoon, we will drive again the scenic route of La Tigra on our way back to San José. Overnight San Jose. |

San Pedro Sula/Honduras Transfer to the International Airport Juan Santamaría for your flight to San Pedro Sula. You will be met at the San Pedro Sula airport and transfered to your Hotel. Overnight San Pedro Sula. |
| Day 9. : |
Copán Ruinas Early transfer to Copán. En route we'll stop in the town of La Entrada for a brief visit to the local market. We then continue travelling through scenic landscapes untilreaching Copán Ruins, where we'll visit the legendary archaeological park which consists of two main sites: the ruins and the sepulchres. Enjoy the impressive 63 step stairway with over 2,500 hieroglyphs and the masterfully carved stelae. Typical lunch followed by a visit to Las Sepulturas, a residential and burial site of the Mayan nobles. Overnight Copan. |

Santa Barbara - Lago de Yojoa Morning transfer to Lago Yojoa. En route we will visit Santa Barbara a typical rural town. Here we visit a handy craft center that supports work with artisans women of the surrounding area. Panama hats, colorful woven baskets and many other products are produced from natural fibers such as reed, corn husk, flat rush and palm leaf. After this tour and lunch in Santa Barbara we continue on to Lake Yojoa. Afternoon visit to Los Naranjos Archaeology and Ecology reserve. Overnight Lago Yojoa. |
| Day 11. : |
Pulhapanzak - Lancetilla - Tela Morning transfer to Tela. En route we visit Pulhapanzak waterfall, an important ceremonial and cultural site for the early Maya. We will have time for a refreshing swim. After arrival in Tela we will take an eductaional hike and tour of Lancetilla Botanical Gardens. The gardens were founded over 70 years ago as an experimental botanical site by the United Fruit Company. The gardens are home to hardwood, medicinal and ornamental plants as well as tropical fruit trees from all over the world. We will see how the bamboo forest absorbs some 90% of the daylight, admire the long rows of majestic Royal Palms. An Orchid Garden and a Natural Reserve with a beautiful 1,200 hectares of virgin tropical rainforest make up this wonderful natural area. Overnight Tela. Leisure time to enjoy the sun, sea and the endless beach of Tela/Tornabé. |
| Day 12. : |
Tela In the early morning we leave by boat to explore the impressive rock formations of Punta Sal. We visit the sheltered little bays, well hidden among the rocks, with palm-fringed beaches and blue lagoons. We will take a breif forest hike. The rest of the time we are free to relax on the beach or swim and snorkel in the crystal clear water and explore the interesting marine life of the world's second largest Coral Reef which comes close to the shore at Punta Sal. | Day 13 . : |

Tela Day left free to enjoy the atmosphere of Tela or to relax on the beach. Extra day programs can be organised at an additional cost. Overnight Tela. |
| Day 14 . : |

San Pedro Sula Morning transfer to the San Pedro Sula airport in time for your international departure flight. End of program. |
