The Belize Zoo is located approximately 30 miles
west of Belize City and is home to over 100 species
of native Belizean animals including the tapir, black
howler monkey, scarlet macaw and jaguar.
Belize City a Wildlife habitat know as the
Belize Zoo created as sanctuary for the country's
indigenous species. The Belize Zoo was first
created for animals which were injured or
donated to the facility and could not be returned
to the wild. This is home for am impressive
array of Large Cats, Primates, Reptiles and
Birds, which gives you the opportunity of viewing
Belize 's prolific wildlife in on location. The Belize
