SHARK RAY ALLEY 
A must visit snorkel site similar to Stingray Alley in the Cayman Island .
This
site
has double the action though as in addition to the Stingrays there are also
resident nurse sharks as well as coral formation and a variety of other fish
life.
Shark Ray Alley is located just five to ten minutes south of Hol -Chan
marine
reserve. The depth here is only 8 ft. Our snorkeling trips usually
combines both stop. The area all around Shark Ray Alley has for many years
been a popular area to fish for conch and lobsters.
After a days worth of catch,
the fishermen would go up to this reef area where it was always calm, to clean
their catch. The remain of these catches were thrown overboard, thus making
this area popular for an easy meal for the stingrays and other fish life.
Coincidentally that is how this snorkel area came about.

Discover the natural wonders of Belize . Dive our local sites on and around the reef. Come Experience the thrill of diving. Scuba Diving rates include boat, guide, tanks and weight belts. Equipment is not included in any tour made. All prices are in U.S. Dollars and are subject to change without notice. Dive Boats are fast and range from 20-25 feet with twin outboards. Request canopy cover boat if desired. Maximum 8-10 divers per boat. Dive Master and Guide per boat. Dives visiting Hol Chan require a $2.50 park fee and you will be responsible for this payment upon your arrival at the park.
All reef dives are approximately a 10 to 25 minute boat ride from the Ambergris Caye Pier. Reef Diving departs and returns to the Pier on a daily basis. In the morning leaving at 9:00 AM a single tank dive or a back to back 2-tank dives completed by 12:30 and again in the afternoon at 2:00 PM an additional single tank dive completed by 3:45. Nite dives are conducted at the Hol Chan Marine Reserve and depart our pier at 5 PM and return by 7:30.

Please Note: Pre-booked diving is non-transferable and non-refundable. It is the responsibility of the guest to complete all pre-booked diving. Reef diving may be upgraded and credited toward atoll diving excursions. |
