A short air transfer from the San Pedro Airstrip to the Belize City Municipal Airport where we will transfer by air conditioned tour van to the Mountain Pine Ridge forest reserve.
This is nature day, as we journey into the northern heart of the Maya Mountain Range, to visit the fabulous 1,000 foot waterfalls of the Hidden Valley. This is located on the west side of the Maya 
Mountains, with 1,600 foot waterfalls, deep winding rivers, and awesome caves. The 300 square mile forest reserve majestically touts a fantastic scenery.
The Rio On Pools are only one of the great attractions at Mountain Pine Ridge. Water cascades down a gorge from the Rio On Pools in the Mountain Pine Ridge area near Rio Frio Cave.
Then roll on to the rainforest area of the Rio Frio Cave for exploration 
(WATCH your step); and swim in the delightfully cool pools of this great mountain stream, flowing over huge granite formations. Hang out in the cool pools or get a natural massage by sitting under one of the waterfalls. Afterwards we drive back to the Belize City Municipal Airstrip for our hop to San Pedro.
