Tikal Maya Ruins
7 Nights/8 Days 
Guaranteed Departure - Monday  

DAY 1 :  Meet and Greet and transfer by our shuttle service to the Cayo area hotel for check-in. Evening at leisure.                

DAY 2 :  8:00a.m. departure for full day of tour of the Mt. Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, with stops made to explore Rio Frio Caves and time for a quick swim at the Rio On bathing pools.   Afterwards, head southwest to the famous Maya site of Caracol (Mayan for Snail).  Picnic lunch while at Caracol.  Walk the path of the Maya and discover some of their well kept secrets.  After your tour, head back to your Cayo area lodge.  Evening at leisure. (L)

DAY 3: Morning pick-up and transfer overland to the border town of Belize's Benque Viejo and Guatemala's Melchor where you will go through Customs and continue on your way to your hotel in Flores, Peten. This trip with border crossings is about 2 hours.  Afternoon free to relax, explore the area.  O/N at Flores area hotel.

DAY 4 :  Enjoy a full day tour of majestic Tikal (Mayan for Places of Voices) nestled in the dense jungles of Peten.  This site has been extensively excavated and restored and is the most recognized of all Maya Ruins.  Picnic lunch is served.  Return to your hotel early evening. O/N Flores area hotel. (L)

DAY 5 :  Morning transfer to Flores Int'l airport to connect with outbound flight to Belize Int'l airport.  You will clear Customs and transfer straight on to your flight to the quaint, charming seaside town of San Pedro , Ambergris Caye.  You will be met and transferred to your Hotel.   Day at leisure to enjoy optional water sports or just bask in the sun. O/N Ambergris Caye.

DAY 6 & 7 :  Day at leisure. O/N Ambergris Caye

DAY 8 : Morning transfer to the local airstrip for flight to Belize Int'l Airport to connect with outbound flight.
