Ballum Na (House of the Jaguar) is our second luxury lodge, located 2 miles south of Indian Creek Lodge and situated within beautiful jungle habitat along side the rushing Boden Creek. “House of the Jaguar” is home to two male jaguars, Bosch and Xupi, who are brothers and were born in captivity. They live in a habitat that encompasses 2.1 acres of jungle surrounded by BLE’s 13,000-acre Boden Creek Reserve. Located next to the enclosure, on the second floor are Ballum Na’s, 5-star Master and Junior Suites. The Master Suite has a spacious bedroom, paneled in warm hardwoods, overlooking the enclosure, with separate sitting room suspended above the rushing stream, and Mexican tiled bathroom with jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. On the third floor guests will find their own private restaurant and bar, with expansive decks and circular canopy walkway, overlooking the jaguar enclosure below, Boden Creek and the cascading Parrot Falls. On the 4th floor an observation deck looks out over the top of the jungle canopy and a carpet of green in every direction and the mountains to the north.
