Inn
Turtle Inn Perched on the southern tip of a narrow peninsula, Placencia
is a charmingly laid back beach town. Its main street is just 1
metre wide as all trade and business used to be carried out by boat.
Just outside Placencia, Turtle Inn is the perfect place to relax
and unwind. Lovingly designed by Francis Ford Coppola himself, it
is built on a pristine white sand beach.
There are cottages and
two bedroom villas as well as a family pavilion with its own private
pool where Coppola himself stays when he's at the hotel. All the
rooms are built on stilts and the decor is peppered with Balinese
