| GENERAL CONDITIONS AND POLICY |
PASSENGER INFORMATION
FOR TICKETS:
. Tickets are Non-Refundable,
Non changeable, Non Transferable.
. Any authorized change must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Penalty apply for any change.
. Taxes and airport fees are included on the price, except if traveling
with the Brazilian or Mercosur Airpass or any
other airpass.
. VISA is required for US citizens (and most other countries) to
enter Brazil and Paraguay .
. You must have a valid Passport to travel to any country.
. Vaccinations are seasonal. Confirm for specific trip.
. Confirm all your flights at least 72 hrs prior to each departure.
. International Baggage: Two free pieces at the cargo (none should
exceed 70 Lbs) and one handbag in the cabin. Call the airline if
taking extra baggage.
. Please verify all your documents (passport, visas, tickets, credit
card, traveler's check, etc.)
BOOKING YOUR TRIP:
Once requested, it will take approximately 3 business days to confirm
all the services. Please make sure that you have provided all the
correct information and that all the reservations, vouchers, invoices
and air tickets have the correct legal names of our valued guest
as it appears on the passports.
a) Payment policy: A 40% deposit is required at the moment of the
confirmation, to activate your land only reservations. Air reservations
will require a full payment. Land portion balance will be due 45
days before departure.
b) Change Fees: A $20.00 change fee per supplier affected by the
change goes into effect at the time of a booking request. If possible,
CHANGES within 45 days before travel carry heavy fees. If you need
to cancel any part of the itinerary No money will be refunded. (Refer
to cancellation policies)
c) Airline tickets are Non-refundable, Non-changeable, Non-transferable.
d) Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will be submitted in writing
and are subject to the following penalties, plus any additional
supplier penalties dated from our receipt of the request (Additional
to standard policies): 60 days prior to departure $100.00 per person
($400 per person for holiday departures) handling charge, plus any
mailing costs, credit card charges and special deposits, will be
applied. 59-45 days prior to departure 50% of all moneys received
will be forfeited, plus any mailing costs, credit card charges and
special deposits, will be applied. 44-15 days prior to departure
all moneys will be forfeited.
THE PURCHASE OF TRAVEL INSURANCE IS HEAVILY RECOMMENDED:
There will be no refunds for unused portions of the itinerary
purchased. CHANGES to travel plans, as per purchased itinerary by
the traveling party are done at their own risk and responsibility,
and are not subject to refunds. In addition to above, at all times
and regardless of time before travel, any and all fees applied by
all air carriers ( international and domestic ), cruise lines, railroads,
transferring companies and any special assessments by hotels will
be applied.
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE:
. Meals not specified in this itinerary
. International air tickets
. All Airport taxes
. Personal expenses such as tele calls, laundry expenses,
drinks, etc.
. Insurance against theft, loss, illness or accident
. International air fare. ( Ask about special discounted
air all U.S. gateways )
PAYMENT Credit Card or Cash/Check as applicable :
All quotations and payments are in U.S. currency; and are quoted
assuming payment by credit card. Check or cash payment entitles
payer to a 2% discount. Deposits may be requested as necessary in
order to secure reservations, regardless of travel time. Final payment
in full is due 45 days prior to departure.
CANCELLATION RULES:
Cancellations will not be accepted by tele, or directly
from the customer to WJI dba Sagitar Travel Vacations, if there
is a primary travel agency involved. All transactions, without exceptions,
will need to be arranged through agency of first contact. The following
regulations and penalties will be enforced at all times; 60 days
prior to departure, all moneys received, less a $75.00 per person
handling charge, plus any mailing costs, credit card charges and
specialty deposits, will be applied. 45 days prior to departure,
50 % of all moneys received will be forfeited, plus mailing and
credit card charges will be applied . 30 days prior to departure,
all moneys received will be forfeited.
APPLICABLE NON REFUNDABLE FEES:
( In addition to above cancellation rules )
ALL required deposits and final payments for group arrangements,
applicable all year.
ALL required deposits and payments for SPECIALTY arrangements, applicable
all year.
ALL required deposits and payments for SPECIAL EVENTS (Carnivals,
Esoteric, Independent) - All destinations.
ALL deposits required for bookings for travel during destinations
HIGH SEASONS and any SPECIAL HOLIDAY per destination.
ALL airfare deposits and/or fees, applied by all air carriers both
international and domestic will be applied.
ALL fees charged for voluntarily missed tours, meals, or other special
activities.
BAGGAGE INFORMATION:
Verify for limitations
For international flights, please inquire with air carrier for any
baggage restrictions. For foreign domestic carriers, some baggage
weight / piece restrictions may apply due to size of aircraft. It
is recommended to verify these while in country and prior to departure
to the local airport. Information provided by tour operator may
be deemed to be a accurate, but not the final determining factor.
AIRLINE RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE:
The passenger ticket shall constitute the sole contract
between the airline and the passenger. Air schedules and airfares
are subject to change and modification without the need for prior
notice and are not the responsibility of the wholesaler.
RESPONSIBILITY and DISCLOSURE:
WJI or it's subsidiaries, its outfitters, tour operators
and agents of service and booking, assume no liability for injury,
damage, loss, accident, delay, war, insurrection, revolt, or any
other civil or military disturbance, Act of God occurring in country
of origin, through passage or destination. Further more, it states
there will be no assumption of responsibility arising and based
on hearsay and undocumented claims of any sort. It assumes no responsibility
for personal likes or dislikes by traveler, as all properties are
described based on general descriptions as close to actual circumstances
and in some cases based on personal observations and these are not
to be accepted as guarantees of any sort. The right is reserved
to make minor changes to itinerary and the right is reserved to
cancel any tour prior to departure. Prices are subject to adjustments
without notice in the event of currency fluctuation. WJI dba Sagitar Travel Vacations, will use all efforts to ensure that all precautions
are taken in order to provide all the required services and a trouble
free trip, however, we do not ensure against medical problems, hazards,
specially in remote areas, or while in the voluntary participation
of any activity involving any sort of risk.
ALL CLAIMS MUST BE IN WRITING. NO CLAIMS WILL BE HONORED 15
DAYS AFTER TERMINATION OF TRAVEL. |
