Your vacation begins when you are met by a resort staff member at the Belize International Airport and take a 20 minute ride to there 
dock in Belize City . There you will board 50 foot transfer vessel for the spectacular 32 mile trip to Blackbird Caye Resort. While sipping on complimentary sodas and Belizean beer you will be weaving through coconut covered sand and mangrove islands, which will lead to the Belize Barrier Reef and then to the western side of Turneffe Atoll… home of Blackbird Caye Resort. This fast one-and-a-quarter hour trip is both exciting and scenic. As civilization disappears, pristine beaches, coral reefs and warm, clear water appears.
You have arrived… You are now at Blackbird Caye Resort... the excitement continues, although now at a slower pace…
All of Blackbird Caye Resort's private individual cabanas face the
Caribbean Sea . The cabanas have air-conditioning, private porches with chairs, hammock, an interior seating area, double or queen beds, a private bathroom with shower, hot water and offers daily maid service. At the front of the main dock is the huge air-condition palapa style restaurant and lounge area. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet-style, while dinner is served at your table with a choice 
of turf or surf. Your evening meal is complete with home-made dessert. Juices and water are available all day and appetizers are served before dinner.
There is something at Blackbird Caye Resort for everyone... Sunfish sailboats, windsurfers, kayaks, canoes, and more. You can be as busy as you like, or just slow down among the 166 acres that encompass the resort. Private individual cabanas face the Caribbean Sea with private porches. Enjoy the palapa-style restaurant and lounge area, and take advantage of the private docks for swimming and soaking up the tropical sun.
