DAY 1 - SAN JOSE INTERNATIONAL - ARENAL VOLCANO
Your private guide will wait for you as you exit the airport, private transfer to the Arenal Volcano area.

DAY 2 - ARENAL VOLCANO - MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST
This transfer takes you from Arenal Volcano to Monteverde . You wil be pick up at your hotel in Arenal and transfer to the dock. Then, you continue with a relaxing boat trip through the waters of the Arenal Lake. On the other side, a biligual guide will be waiting for you to continue the jouney up to Monteverde. Enjoy this wonderful tour and observe the exotic beauty that hosts this paradisiacal place. Admire the transition of the rain forest to the cloud forest where you will reach an altitude of 3600 feet (1200 meters) above sea level where you can see perhaps the best view of the Monteverde Cloud Forest and the amazing panoramic views of the Arenal Volcano.

No other tour will really show you how Monteverde truly emerged, the history of the hard-working Quakers who decided to settle there and imprint their lifestyles in the region and why it is as it is today. We start off with a visit to one of Costa Rica's most famous cheese factory where, apart from learning from its actual manufacturing process, you will enjoy tasting world-class cheeses.
Then we continue to other locations in Monteverde including the Women Craft Store (CASEM) that groups 100 to 150 women from the area who have come together seeking for a place to exhibit their works while ensuring an additional income that will allow them to take care of their family as well. After this we follow to the Monteverde Coffee Roaster where you will taste a very special coffee as it is from the high mountains of Monteverde and we will finish our tour with a visit to Ecstasy Woodcraft Gallery and Alquimia Art Gallery where Costa Rican artists exhibit their truly amazing wood works.

The Fonda Vela has 40 rooms in 9 separate buildings, this includes 20 standard rooms and 20 junior suites; 14 with TV's. All rooms have private bath, hot water and 2 queen-size beds or a king size bed. We also have rooms with three beds, ideal for families.The Fonda Vela Hotel is an ideal place for birdwatching. We have more than one kilometer of private hiking trails and are within walking distance of the Monteverde Cloud Forest, the Hummingbird Gallery and the Children's Eternal Rainforest.

DAY 3 - MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST
Canopy Tour:

For those seeking for a more relaxing overview of the forest, take advantage of our suspension walkways. Walk through our bridge system and peacefully admire the wonders of the virgin cloud forest from the level of its canopy.

DAY 4 - MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST - MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK

In a class by itself this charming hotel is nestled in 180 acres of virgin rainforest, In the lowlands of the Central Pacific, which is very humid tropical forest and the richest zone in diversity of species in the world. Just a few steps from the untouched jungle and in the shadow of the famous “Manuel Antonio” National Park, is the best bird watching spot of the area. Our hotel counts with its own paths, where it is possible to observe at least 50 species of mammals and 15 species of reptiles.
