Day 01- March 19 -Wednesday - Guatemala City
Meet and greet at the international airport - transfer to select hotel
Day 02 - March 20 - Thursday - Chichicastenango
Transfer from your hotel to the Guatemalan Highlands along the Pan-American Highway to Chichicastenango, a quiche indian town surrounded by hills and mountains that jealously keep the inhabitants' traditions, as they melt their prehispanic and catholic rituals at the 400 years old church of Santo Tomas, built on the remains of a Maya Temple. Here on market days Thursdays and Sundays, acquire great meaning and smoky incense impregnates the atmosphere with mysticism and religiosity. People barter their product and the market explodes with color, tradition and folklore. At the proper time transfer to Panajachel, a village located on the shores of Lake Atitlan. Considered as one of the most beautiful lakes around the world, also three volcanoes ATITLAN, TOLIMAN AND SAN PEDRO are protecting the lake. Free time for lunch (not included). On time transfer back to Guatemala city. 
Day 03 - March 21 - Friday - Antigua Holly Week
You will live Guatemala city early with your guide who will explain to you what is happing in the street of the City of Antigua.
On Good Friday the streets of Antigua are covered with natural, aromatic carpets (alfombras) of flowers, pines, clover and fruits, which the residents put together and place in front of their homes. There are all kinds and shapes. Some are very long, even up to a kilometer, with colonial, Mayan, Roman or other original designs. At 7:00 A.M., the sculpture of Christ carrying his
crucifix is moved through the carpeted main streets of Antigua on the shoulders of his worshipers until early afternoon, when the image is replaced by another of Christ being laid to rest. 
At 4:30 P.M., Antigua becomes adorned with black crepe paper as thousands of people, burning incense and dressed in black, crowd the plazas and streets. A spectacular procession (procession) is led by the man bearing the crucifix, with hundreds of followers (cucuruchos) carrying black banners and standards engraved with the final words of Christ and the pronouncements of God. Life-like images representing the archangels, the Stations of the Cross, the Cavalry, the apostles and many others are part of the silent procession through the streets, where multitudes pray quietly.
Late return to your hotel.
Day 4 - March 22 - Saturday - Guatemala City
From your hotel you will begin the tour through the New Guatemala de la Asunción, the official name of Guatemala city, which involves
great variety of architectural expressions, that make numberless contrasts, begin the trip visiting the relief map, and admirable engineering work make to scale at the beginning of this century. Then on to the main Plaza or Plaza de la Constitución, visit the National Palace
(Palacio Nacional de la Cultura) the metropolitan Cathedral, and the central market where you can find huge variety of handcrafts and regional textiles.
Continue to the Civic Centre, where you can see the Cultural Center Miguel Angel Asturias, a
monumental work of modern architecture, then continue through the Seta Avenida and the AvenidaLa Reforma, visit the Avenida de Las Americas and La Cañada - residential area of the zona 14- , at the proper time return to Guatemala city.
Day 5 - March 23 - Sunday - Tikal
Early morning pick up at your hotel, transfer to the airport, flight to Tikal. Your guide will transfer you to the National Park of Tikal for a full day tour.
The ruins of Tikal include more than 3,000 structures extending over six square miles and including palaces, temples, ceremonial platforms,
ball courts, terraces, plazas, avenues and steam baths. The ancient Maya began building Tikal around 600 B.C., and for the next 1500 years the area was an important religious, scientific, and political center.
The Tikal National Park is not only home to an ancient Mayan City. Screeching howler monkeys and squawking parrots provide nature's soundtrack to all visitors in the area. From monkeys to white lipped peccary, brocket deer, coati-mundis, toucans, scarlet macaws, parrots, ocelots; even the seldom jaguar can occasionally be spotted. Along with many vegetation spices there is also an abundance of tropical flowers.
Late afternoon flight back to Guatemala City, transfer to your hotel for overnight.
