Day 01:
Arrival to Panama City. Receptiomn and transfer from international airport to your select city Hotel.
In the evening Folkloric Night Show and Dinner
Panama has been the melting pot for several cultures. Originally, the native indian groups created their acoustic instrument using parts of plants and shells of different animals, then the Spanish conquerors brought their influence from the Old World. The Afro-caribbeans also contributed on it, when they came for the Canal construction, and some other small groups gave birth to, what is today, one the most attractive and folkloric heritages of Latin America.
The show is fully allegoric with typical acoustic music and musicians. A group of dancers, where women wear the unique "Pollera", a hand made cotton dress complemented with precious body and head jewelry which is exhibited while they dance.
Men' typical attire is relatively simple. However, their hats are finely hand-made by excellent artisans that spend even weeks in only one piece. Their cotton shirts boast golden or pearl bottoms.
Just picture this fabulous show while tasting our excellent Panamanian cuisine.
Comfortable light casual clothes are suggested.

Day 02:
Breakfast at the hotel,Half Day City and Canal Tour 
Guided trip to the most important places and characteristics of Panama. You will have a pretty good vision of Old Panama City, the Colonial or "Casco Viejo" and the modern areas of Panama.
Walk around Old Panama City, destroyed by pirate Henry Morgan in 1671; buy souvenirs at the Handicrafts Market there. The tour continuous to the traditional and commercial areas, banking area, and the modern Panama City.
Then, we are going to Colonial area or "Casco Viejo" through the stretched streets, plazas and public parks, where still conserve part of our history, as France Plaza, Las Bovedas, San Jose Church , with it's wonderful altar (all made of gold), the Flat Arc, and Catedral Church, as others.
Also, you will appreciate the biggest engineering structure of this century, considered the "Marvel of the World Number 8". Learn about it's function and history. If we have good luck, we will see the vessels as they transit through the Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal.
Return to the hotel at noon.
Light clothes, comfortable shoes, sunscreen are suggested. Do not forget your camera and a lot of films.
In the afternoon transfer to the airport.
