At only 17 minutes from Panama City by plane, there is one of the most important islands in Archipielago Las Perlas. It is remarkable for its singular beauty, the great coral sandy beaches, lush vegetation and for being a sanctuary for marine birds, as pelicans. The name of the island is due to an ancient story that tells pearls were found on its coasts.
You will enjoy breakfast, lunch, unlimited national drinks, beautiful beaches of white sand, hotel facilities (pools, sport activities, not motored activities), air transfers or boat transfer (subject to availability).
Discovered by the Spanish in the early 16th century, this group of islands became known for the abundance of natural pearls found in the waters here. Contadora Island became the center for business where the pearls where counted and registered. While most of the pearls have long since disappeared, the island is a delightful place to spend the day, or even a few days. Contadora is located about 40 miles off the Pacific coast of Panama and can be reached by air or by sea.
We will meet you at the airport for your transfer back to your hotel.
