Punta Caracol Aqua Lodge

Punta Caracol was born out of the idea of creating an Acqua-Lodge in a totally virgin and natural environment. The idea is to offer guests a pure and intimate experience with nature in a place of singular beauty where they can relax in comfort.

The 5 Punta Caracol Suites consist of two stories that together provide 50 m 2 of interior surface and 25 m 2 in its terraces, in addition to a platform at the water's surface with stairs to access the green, crystal clear waters surrounding it.

The king size bed is located in the upper room, from where you can enjoy an incredible view of the bay through an ingenious window through the palm roof, while your two individual beds are in the lower room, with a bathroom.

All the Punta Caracol suites are joined to the main dock by independent fingers, except for numbers 3 and 4, which share a finger, due to live corals that got in the way which we decided to protect (each anchoring post in Punta Caracol acqua-lodge was placed respecting the natural contour of the coral reefs around it, after a meticulous two-year environmental impact study).

Luna Suite

Our three Luna Suites , besides everything mentioned above, have side halls that encircle it, bigger front and rear terraces, and they also have a hammock, hanging chair and larger bathing / solarium platform.

Master Suite

Our Master Suite is the best architecture work in Punta Caracol acqua-lodge. Its exclusive octagon design confers it attractive, provocative and sheer spaces. It has about 100 m 2 of interior surface, and over 60 m 2 of outer terraces, it has side terraces and another terrace in the upper level, which gives it a spectacular panoramic view.

Our Master Suite has a king size bed in the upper room, and four twin (individual) beds in the lower room and also have a hammock and hanging chair.

All our Suites have hot water, and 12-volt electric power supplied by the solar panels installed in its thatch roof.

In order to make your stay with us more comfortable, all our Suites have complements offered to each guest upon his arrival at Punta Caracol acqua-lodge, such as mineral water bottles each night, raincoats, umbrellas, flashlights, snorkeling equipment, beach towels, reading lamps and a hygiene kit.

• Tours and lunch. Most tours will stop at nearby restaurants for lunch. The approximate cost of a whole day tour, including boat ride and guide, range from US$20.00 to US$60 per person

Due to the location of Punta Caracol, it is not recommended to bring children under the age of 14.

You can choose from a fascinating selection of day tours - visit the numerous islands of the spectacular Bocas del Toro archipelago, ford rainforest rivers, visit native Indian villages, observe a variety of majestic sea birds at flight as well as the fascinating creatures of our luxuriant rainforests like the cute sloth and the scarlet red frogs-native only to Bocas. Dive or snorkel with the colorful fish in our coral reefs or spend some time fishing- wherever you go Bocas will reveal a surprising, relatively unknown marine world.
