Mountain activities include eco-paths, horseback riding, cloud forest hikes, trout fishing, thermal water baths, white water rafting, canyoning and rappelling. Guests are able to visit places of magnificent beauty such as the International Park of "La Amistad" (PILA) with its great woodlands which is a Natural Patrimony of Humanity.
The Volcan Baru National Park is also close and it is located in the highest elevation of the country. In this mountainous forest there is an abundance of ferns and lichens. The twisted forms of old trees appear as if they were woodland ghosts. Rocky floral patterns with mysterious forms and old volcanic creators extend for miles in every direction. |
