As an independent tour or as and extension to the Colonial Quito Tour , it is worthwhile taking this tour of Museums. We will begin with the visit to the archeological section of the Museum of "Banco Central" whose vast examples show nothing less than 12.000 years of antiquity .
      Next we will visit the great painter Oswaldo Guayasamín's work, the famous Ecuadorian artist of the XX century. We will see his legacy through this private museum and the Capilla del Hombre , his posthumous masterpiece.
      If it is of interest to you one of these visits can be exchanged for a visit to the City Museum instead, which offers us an excellent view of the customs of the history of Quito .
