      "Therms of Papallacta" hotel and spa is located in the mountains in its natural environment, close to Quito. Here you will be able to relax and enjoy the nature.
After some outdoor activities, you will be able to take a thermal bath.
     The outside pools are fed by Hot Springs located in the middle of the Andean highlands.
This sleepy little town is situated at 3300 m in a beautiful setting of steep hills covered with green cloud forest. The town itself has not very much to offer but just a stone throw away you will find its famous thermal baths.
      These are set up with various pools with hot volcanic water (of those only 2 or 3 are filled with water at the same time) and that makes it an ideal place to get a hot soak and relax enjoying the stunning countryside or watching the stars at night. The whole complex is pretty new, very well maintained and clean. At only 67 km of Quito it makes a perfect visit for the day and so this place is famous with travelers and people from Quito alike. The area is often covered in mist but on a clear day you can see surrounding mountains like the Antisana . Outside the water of the hot springs it can be very cold because of the height. In the town of Papallacta you find a few cheap hostels or at the Papallacta Terms you can sleep in the comfortable Hotel Papallacta, which has its private spas. There are the terms Coturpa in town, which are much more basic and therefore less expensive.

Day 1 . - Quito - Thermal baths of Papallacta - Leisure day in pools and hot springs
Day 2. - leisure day and return to Quito
