best. The festivities attract thousands of
people from all corners of the world.
Carnaval, as spelled in Portuguese,
is a 5-day celebration.
It starts on Saturday and ends on
Fat Tuesday (Mardi-Gras)
(Dates change every year),
although the party goes on through
"Wednesday of Ashes".
Carnival in Rio is characterized by Samba
music, partying, and packed beaches. There
are parties in the streets with bands everywhere.		 It starts Saturday Feb 4th 2005 - Call to book the #1 Party of all time!
