Amboro National Park • 4 Days/3 Nights from Samaipata

Day 1  AM: Walk through Samaipata valley at 1700 m. We spend the night at La Vispera.

Day 2 AM: Walk through cloud Forest appreciating giant ferns, the unexplored archaeological site of Pucara (2100m) and the Condor's Nest. We descend to 1200m to camp.

Day 3 Walk to appreciate the subtropical wood and with its variety of flora: ficuses, bromeliads, orchids, passifloras, laurel, medicinal herbs. fauna: monkeys, rodents, Andean puma, bears, birds, reptiles and with luck, jaguar tracks. camp.

Day 4 Morning walk through the forest and plains of Amboro Park . After lunch return to La Vispera for a hot shower.
