A traveler's tax only applies to international flights for national passengers and residents of Bolivia, or foreigners and residents of Bolivia in other countries that have been in Bolivia for more than 3 months.
International: US$ 20 (Bolivia airport departure taxes of $20.00)
 Basic tourist regulations include taking time to pay dues to the country in accordance to its declaration of rights, custom house charges and the appropriate legal actions for the following objects; a camera, portable laptop or other writing machine, movie camera and accessories, recorder, sports equipment, five liters of alcoholic beverages, four hundred cigarettes (two cartons), fifty cigars or five hundred grams of tobacco, which exceeds the exemption level of $US 2,000.
In case you have any new items that exceed the value of $US 1000, you will be asked to fill out a Form 126 for the difference.
Tipping:
10% in restaurants and taxis. $.50 - .75 per bag to porters |
