We will leave Mar del Plata and go 65 km. toward the west
where you can find hills, ranches and farms. The area is the most
important in Argentina for growing potatoes. Then we will pass the
principle satellite communication center in the country which is
located in Balcarce. We finally arrive in the city of Balcarce where
Juan Manuel Fangio, who is the five time international auto champion,
was born and lived. We will visit the National Museum of Automobiles
founded by this great champion where we can see his autos,
prizes and history as well as those of his occasional adversaries: the
principle race tracks of the world. The museum at the same time
presents the most advanced technology of the automobile industry.
Then we will visit the "Juan Manuel Fangio Race Track". We will return
going around the Lagoon and the hills of the Padres; where we
will stop to have a Creole lunch.
